Windows 10 / 11

Download HablaSetup.exe

About 15 MB. No admin rights needed; installs for your user only.

What the installer does
  • Asks whether this PC has an NVIDIA GPU (it pre-selects the right answer).
  • Installs the speech engine: about 3 GB for the GPU build, 0.3 GB for CPU.
  • Downloads the speech model: Qwen3-ASR 1.7B (4.4 GB) for GPU, 0.6B (1.3 GB) for CPU.
  • Adds Hablá to the Start Menu and, if you tick it, to startup.

Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unsigned app — choose “More info → Run anyway”.

Requirements

macOS (Apple Silicon)

Install with Homebrew:

brew install --cask ikbrrrr/habla/habla

Then open Hablá from Applications. Update later with:

brew upgrade --cask habla
First launch
  • macOS asks for Microphone, Accessibility and Automation permissions — the app’s Setup panel walks you through them.
  • The speech model (Qwen3-ASR, about 2 GB) downloads on first use.
